Corliss is Vice President and Corporate Controller at Stanley Black & Decker. Formerly Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Sikorsky Aerospace Services, Corliss held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Global Director, Internal Audit, Vice President, Controller at Pratt & Whitney, and UTC Director, Financial Reporting. Prior to joining UTC, Corliss was a Project Manager at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, spending much of her time on issues associated with financial instruments, derivatives, and hedging.  She started her career at Deloitte Haskins and Sells.

Corliss graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Connecticut in 1986 and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Bridgeport in 1991. Corliss is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut, a member of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, and of the Financial Executives Institute.  She is also on the Board of Trustees of The Bushnell and on the Parent’s Fund Council of Choate Rosemary Hall.
